Should I say, “It’s about time”, or should I say, “Boy, are you late in the game…” At least they’re taking a positive step here and is trying to make positive improvements. Truthfully, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for their chicken mc nuggets, fries, and oh so yummy apple pies! I don’t know why. I think it stemmed from my childhood. My dad would take us to McDonald’s or Pioneer Chicken (blast from the past) as places to treat us. Not only that, our family was poor, and you can feed lots of mouths for little money.
Nowadays, there’s no Pioneer Chicken around where I live, and McDonald’s is not even on my mind when I think of “healthy”. Yes, I’ll still pick up a pie or two if I have one of those unbearable late night cravings. However, “healthy” is something that I don’t even think about when I go there.
